.vantronix is member of the following organizations:

European Institute for Computer Anti-Virus Research (EICAR)
Over the past years the EICAR has established new task forces for research
in parallel to the anti-virus research group. One of the core
competencies of .vantronix is the WLAN technology. For this reason,
.vantronix is working together with the EICAR to build a new task-force
which is focused on Wireless LAN security. The mission statement
can be found
here.
Other things .vantronix is involved in:

DE-CIX (German Commercial Internet Exchange)
Conception, deployment and support for a test-route-server based on
OpenBSD at the DE-CIX. The
system is based on HP ProLiant hardware.

OpenBSD
Active research and development are the foundation of our services.
.vantronix is developing software in the area Wireless LAN support
(drivers, framework, OpenBSD hostapd) and network support (trunk).
